Growing up, we both faced the harsh reality of body shaming. For years, our self-worth was tied to unrealistic standards and external validation. The scars from those experiences ran deep, leaving us both feeling disconnected from our bodies and unsure of how to embrace our true beauty.
But through our pain, we discovered a deeper truth: our worth was never defined by the opinions of others. As we grew older, we both turned to our Christian faith for guidance. It was through our relationship with God that we began to truly understand our inherent value—not as the world sees us, but as He sees us: beautiful, worthy, and loved. We learned something powerful: true beauty comes from within.
As we each navigated our own paths to self-acceptance, we realized that the journey to body positivity is a lifelong one, and it’s a journey that deserves to be celebrated. We also realized that fashion and wellness are deeply connected—they aren’t just about what you wear or how you look, but about how you feel when you wear it. When we finally started dressing for ourselves—when we started caring for our bodies, minds, and spirits—the transformation was nothing short of magical.
